How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Cavis is building a high-performing, data-led lead-generation and intake operation within the UK claims sector. We are looking for a commercially minded Head of Data Management to own the quality, structure, flow and governance of the data that powers our growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will build the data foundations behind our lead journeys, contact-centre operations, CRM, reporting and law-firm handoffs. You will make sure our teams have reliable information, leaders have trusted MI, and our systems are designed with security, privacy and compliance in mind.

    The role

You will own Cavis’s data-management strategy and its practical delivery across the business. Working closely with Technology, Operations, Compliance and Marketing, you will create a single, dependable view of leads and operational performance.

You will be comfortable moving between data architecture, API integrations, process design, data quality and executive reporting. You will not simply report on problems. You will design the systems and controls that prevent them.

    Key responsibilities

Define and deliver the company-wide data-management strategy, standards and roadmap.

Own CRM data architecture, including lead, contact, case, referral and outcome data models.

Build and oversee integrations between CRM, telephony, lead sources, marketing platforms, middleware, reporting tools and external partners.

Establish robust processes for data ingestion, validation, matching, de-duplication, enrichment, retention and deletion.

Ensure lead data is correctly captured, routed, qualified, tracked and securely handed off to law-firm partners.

Create clear, accurate management information covering lead source, contact rates, acceptance and rejection outcomes, agent performance, conversion and partner performance.

Develop dashboards and reporting that give leadership timely, actionable insight.

Implement strong data governance, access controls, auditability and data-quality monitoring appropriate for a regulated business handling sensitive personal information.

Partner with Compliance to support data-protection, record-keeping and operational-control requirements.

Set standards for API integrations, event tracking, documentation, monitoring and error handling.

Reduce manual processes, spreadsheet dependency and inconsistent reporting.

Build and lead the data-management capability as Cavis grows.

    About you

You will have significant experience in data management, CRM architecture, data governance or data operations within a fast-moving, regulated or high-volume environment.

    You will bring:

Strong experience designing and managing CRM data models, ideally in HubSpot, Salesforce or a comparable platform.

Experience integrating operational systems through APIs, webhooks, middleware and third-party platforms.

Proven ability to improve data quality, identity resolution, de-duplication and reporting consistency.

Strong SQL and data-analysis capability, with confidence working directly with technical teams and external suppliers.

Experience producing commercial and operational MI for senior stakeholders.

A practical understanding of data protection, access controls, audit trails and handling sensitive personal information.

The ability to translate business processes into robust technical and data requirements.

Excellent judgement, attention to detail and a bias for action.

Experience in lead generation, contact-centre operations, financial services, claims, legal services or another regulated sector would be highly advantageous.

This is an opportunity to build the data function at a pivotal stage of growth. You will have real ownership, direct influence over how the business operates, and the chance to create a scalable data platform that improves outcomes for customers, partners and the Cavis team.

If you are a data leader who enjoys solving complex operational problems and building reliable systems from the ground up, we would like to hear from you.
