How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Lithuanian and English Speaking First Response Advisor

    Location: Newcastle City Centre

    Salary: £23,250 per annum

    Contract: Full-time, Permanent

    About the Role

We are seeking a First Response Advisor (English and Lithuanian speaking) to join a busy legal team in Newcastle City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a professional manner to become an integral part of our client care team.

The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for new and existing clients, handling enquiries in English and Lithuanian. You will play a key role in ensuring that client information is accurately captured and that each enquiry is managed efficiently and with care.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Client Communication: Answer incoming calls and emails, providing clear and professional information in English and Lithuanian, depending on client needs.
    • Attendance Taking: Record accurate details of client enquiries and attendance notes for the First Response Team, ensuring information is logged correctly.
    • Client Support: Assist clients with initial queries and direct them to the appropriate department or legal team member.
    • Case Administration: Update case management systems with relevant client data and maintain accurate and confidential records.
    • Team Coordination: Work closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth client journey and seamless handover of information.
    • Compliance: Ensure all communication and data handling meet the firm’s compliance and confidentiality standards.

    About You

    • Fluent language skills in English and Lithuanian are essential, as the role involves supporting clients who communicate in these languages.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
    • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
    • Confident working in a fast-paced office environment and managing multiple priorities.
    • Previous experience in an administrative, call-handling or customer service role — ideally within a legal or professional services environment — is desirable but not essential.
