Requirements:
* Valid Class 2 (HGV/LGV, Category C) driving licence
* Valid CPC and Tacho Card
* Previous commercial driving experience
* Experience handling and delivering glass, fragile goods or specialist products would be advantageous
* Excellent driving skills with a strong focus on safety
* Good customer service and communication skills
* Physically fit, as manual handling will be involved
* Reliable, professional and responsible approach to work
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely load, transport and deliver glass products to customers
* Ensure all products are secured correctly for transportation
* Take care when loading, unloading and handling fragile goods
* Complete vehicle checks and report any defects
* Deliver goods safely and on time across Portsmouth and surrounding areas
* Provide excellent customer service at each delivery
* Complete all relevant delivery paperwork and documentation
* Follow all company procedures and health and safety regulations
