How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Lead and contribute to HR projects and organisational change initiatives.

Take ownership of the design and continuous improvement of the colleague induction and onboarding programme.

Work collaboratively across the wider People team to deliver a high-quality service and drive continuous improvement.

Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and confidence providing practical HR advice.

Experience working in an HR advisory or business partnering capacity.

Experience coaching and influencing managers on employee relations and people matters.

Experience supporting talent management and colleague development initiatives.

Experience producing and interpreting HR management information and using data to inform decisions.

Experience managing HR projects and supporting organisational change.

A genuine interest in learning and development, with experience designing and/or delivering engaging learning initiatives.

Experience creating learning materials, resources, workshops, guides or digital content would be highly advantageous.

Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills, with the confidence to engage audiences at different levels.

A coaching-led approach, with the ability to influence managers and stakeholders effectively.

Highly organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.

Strong attention to detail and a practical, solutions-focused approach.

A self-starter who is comfortable working independently while also contributing positively to a wider team.

A genuine commitment to inclusion, colleague development and continuous improvement.

Creative, curious and open to new approaches to learning and people development.
