Pay Rate: £23.00 per hour
Overtime Rate: £30.00 per hour
Payment: CIS / PAYE Umbrella
Contract: 13-week probationary period
Location: Tranent, East Lothian
We are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Yard Operatives / General Labourers to join a busy industrial yard in Tranent.
Key Responsibilities
* Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
* Moving steel and aluminium materials around the workshop and yard
* Preparing materials for galvanising and dispatch
* Checking incoming deliveries and paperwork
* Inspecting galvanised materials for quality and accuracy
* Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
* Following all company health and safety procedures
Requirements
* Good organisational and time-management skills
* Ability to work effectively to deadlines
* Positive attitude and strong team-working ethic
* Previous yard or industrial experience advantageous
* Forklift licence preferred but not essential
