How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    BODYSHOP WORKSHOP CONTROLLER

    Location: Park Royal
    OTE: £65,000
    Basic Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
    Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
    Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm

    Looking for a Bodyshop Workshop Controller role where your workshop management experience is properly rewarded, your organisational skills are valued, and you can achieve an OTE of £65,000 while working a consistent Monday to Friday schedule?

    If you're an experienced Bodyshop Workshop Controller / Workshop Controller / Bodyshop Production Controller looking for your next career move, this is an excellent opportunity to take responsibility for the day-to-day flow of repairs within a busy professional accident repair environment.

    Working Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm, you'll play a key role in coordinating technicians, controlling vehicle workflow, monitoring repair progress, and helping ensure vehicles are completed efficiently and to the required quality standards.

    THE ROLE
    As a Bodyshop Workshop Controller, you'll be responsible for coordinating workshop activity and managing the repair process to ensure vehicles progress efficiently through each stage of the Bodyshop.

    Key responsibilities include:
    ·Controlling the daily workflow of vehicles through the workshop and allocating work to technicians.
    ·Monitoring repair progress and ensuring vehicles remain on schedule throughout the repair process.
    ·Coordinating Panel Beaters, MET Technicians, Paint Technicians, and other workshop personnel.
    ·Checking repair quality and ensuring completed work meets the required standards before vehicles progress to the next stage.
    ·Identifying delays, bottlenecks, and additional repair requirements and communicating these to the relevant teams.
    ·Liaising with the Bodyshop Manager and other departments to maintain an efficient production process.
    ·Ensuring technicians have the correct information, parts, and resources required to complete allocated repairs.
    ·Maintaining accurate repair information and supporting the Bodyshop in achieving productivity, quality, and customer service objectives.

    ABOUT YOU
    This opportunity would suit an experienced Bodyshop Workshop Controller / Workshop Controller / Bodyshop Production Controller / Workshop Manager with strong knowledge of accident repair operations.

    You'll ideally have:
    ·Previous experience within a Bodyshop, accident repair centre, or automotive workshop environment.
    ·Experience controlling workshop workflow and coordinating technicians across multiple repair stages.
    ·Strong knowledge of Panel, Paint, MET, and general accident repair processes.
    ·Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing deadlines.
    ·Strong communication skills and the confidence to coordinate technicians and liaise with management.
    ·A commercially aware and solutions-focused approach to workshop operations.
    ·Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high repair quality standards.
    ·Good IT and administrative skills for maintaining accurate repair and workflow information.
    ·A full UK driving licence.
