TeamJobs is recruiting on behalf of our client for an Assembly Operative to join a well-established organisation within the aerospace industry in Feltham.

The Role
As an Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for supporting the construction, maintenance and testing of mechanical equipment, machinery and components.
Your duties will include:
Assembling and maintaining mechanical equipment and components.
Supporting the testing of machinery and mechanical systems.
Identifying parts that require replacement.
Ordering or requesting replacement components when required.
Following established procedures, instructions and guidelines.
Working safely and effectively under supervision.
Maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
Key Details
Pay: £13.59 per hour Shift Pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off
Hours: 6:30am - 6:30pm
Shift Length: 12 hours
Location: Feltham
What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from candidates who have:
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a similar assembly or mechanical role (preferred).
A basic understanding of common mechanical concepts and practices.
An interest in developing a career within engineering or aerospace.
A willingness to undertake an apprenticeship or relevant formal training.
The ability to follow clear instructions and established procedures.
A reliable and professional approach to work.
