How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Presales Consultant – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

    UK South / Hybrid
    £80,000+

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Presales Consultant to join a growing technology and consultancy business.

    This is a varied role combining technical and functional Business Central expertise with customer-facing presales, supporting clients through discovery, solution design, demonstrations and proof of concepts. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to digital presales content and help shape the future of the presales function.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Lead customer discovery sessions to understand business requirements and challenges.

    * Recommend tailored Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions.

    * Support solution design, technical proposals and architecture documentation.

    * Deliver engaging and tailored Business Central demonstrations, consultations and webinars.

    * Build and maintain effective demonstration environments.

    * Lead proof of concepts and pilot projects where required.

    * Support the sales team with technical queries, objections and customer requirements.

    * Translate complex technical information into clear, commercially relevant solutions.

    * Work with marketing to develop presales content including demonstrations, product tours, technical guides and industry-specific materials.

    * Use CRM and digital engagement tools to track customer interaction and provide insight to the sales team.

    * Keep up to date with Business Central developments, Microsoft technologies and competitor solutions.

    * Contribute to new business opportunities, industry initiatives and the development of scalable presales processes.

    About You

    We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central professional with a strong background in presales and customer engagement.

    Ideally, you will have:

    * 5+ years' experience within a Business Central presales environment.

    * Strong hands-on Business Central experience across consulting, configuration, customisation and implementation.

    * Excellent knowledge of Business Central functionality and its application to different business requirements.

    * Strong presentation, demonstration and communication skills.

    * Experience translating customer requirements into practical, commercially viable solutions.

    * Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

    * The ability to work collaboratively with sales, marketing, product and implementation teams.

    Desirable:

    * Experience with LS Retail / LS Central.

    * Microsoft Power Platform experience.

    * Experience with third-party Business Central solutions such as Continia or Tasklet.

    * Experience creating digital presales content or technical marketing materials.
