The Nursery Practitioner role may include:
• Providing attentive and high-quality care to children
• Supporting children's learning and development through play
• Creating engaging activities appropriate to children's individual needs
• Supporting children's physical, social and emotional development
• Following the EYFS framework and contributing to children's learning journeys
• Maintaining a safe, clean and stimulating nursery environment
• Building strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Supporting daily routines, including meals, personal care and sleep routines
• Working collaboratively with other Early Years professionals
• Following safeguarding, health and safety and nursery procedures
What we're looking for:
• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or a relevant subject
• Previous experience working within a nursery, pre-school or Early Years environment
• Good understanding of the EYFS
• Knowledge of safeguarding and children's welfare
• A warm, caring and enthusiastic personality
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliability and professionalism
• A genuine passion for supporting children's development
• A willingness to continue learning and developing professionally
