We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Contract Manager to join our client’s team, working across high-end luxury retail fit-out projects throughout the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Contract Manager who has a proven track record delivering premium retail environments, with exceptional attention to detail and a strong understanding of the demands and standards associated with luxury brands.
THE ROLE
As Senior Contract Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the successful commercial and operational delivery of multiple high-end retail fit-out projects.
You will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing the full contract lifecycle from pre-construction through to completion.
*
Overall responsibility for the commercial and contractual performance of projects.
*
Managing project teams, subcontractors and supply chains.
*
Monitoring budgets, costs, variations and financial performance.
*
Managing client relationships and attending progress / commercial meetings.
*
Reviewing and negotiating subcontractor packages and contracts.
*
Managing programmes, procurement and project delivery.
*
Identifying and managing commercial and contractual risks.
*
Ensuring projects are delivered to the required quality, programme and specification.
*
Managing variations, valuations, applications for payment and final accounts.
*
Working closely with Site Managers, Project Managers and commercial teams.
*
Maintaining strong relationships with high-profile clients and stakeholders.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential:
*
Proven experience as a Senior Contract Manager / Contracts Manager within the construction or fit-out sector.
*
Extensive high-end luxury retail fit-out experience is essential.
*
Experience delivering projects for premium / luxury retail brands.
*
Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
*
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams.
*
Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
*
Strong understanding of construction programmes, procurement and project delivery.
*
Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment where quality and attention to detail are critical
Salary description
£65000.00 - £80000.00 per year
