Senior Engineer

Teamforce Labour are currently looking for Senior Engineers to join a major long-term project in Torpoint.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Engineer to join a technically demanding project, initially working from our in East London (If required) before transferring to the Torpoint site once the required security clearance has been obtained.

The Role

You will provide engineering support across the project, working closely with the site and project teams to ensure works are delivered safely, accurately and to the required technical standards.
The project will involve setting out, deep excavation, reinforced concrete works and complex temporary works, providing an opportunity to work on a challenging and significant construction project over the long term.

About You

We are looking for candidates with:

Degree-level qualification or equivalent in an engineering-related discipline
Relevant CSCS card
Strong engineering experience within a construction environment
Experience in setting out
Experience with deep excavation
Strong reinforced concrete (RC) experience
Experience working with complex temporary works
Strong technical and problem-solving skills
The ability to work collaboratively with site and project teamsSecurity Requirements – Essential

Due to the nature of the project, candidates must:

Hold a passport from a MISWG (Multinational Industrial Security Working Group) member country
Be eligible for, and willing to undergo, the required security clearance vetting
Be able to provide a continuous, verifiable five-year address history to support the vetting process
Security clearance typically takes several weeks, so early applications are encouraged.
