Your new role
As Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a key role in providing expert ER guidance and support to managers across multiple sites. You will manage a broad range of complex employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and minimising organisational risk.Key responsibilities will include:

Managing complex disciplinary, grievance, capability and investigation cases.
Supporting organisational change initiatives, including restructures, consultations and workforce transitions.
Building and maintaining effective relationships with employee representatives and key stakeholders.
Coaching and developing managers to confidently manage people issues and improve employee relations capabilities across the organisation.
Leading on absence management initiatives to support employee wellbeing and operational performance.
Providing pragmatic, commercially focused advice on employment law, risk management and best practice.
Supporting wider projects involving organisational change, integration activities and workforce transformation.What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience in a dedicated Employee Relations role within a complex, operational environment.
Strong experience managing complex ER casework through to resolution, including legal risk assessment and employment tribunal exposure.
Experience working within a unionised environment and engaging effectively with employee representatives.
Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practice.
Strong coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and operate effectively within a fast-paced environment.
Experience supporting organisational change, consultations and workforce transitions would be highly advantageous.What you'll get in return
