Description
As the Interim Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:
Prepare and review financial statements in line with regulatory requirements.
Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end reporting.
Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
Support the audit process by providing required documentation and responses.
Analyse financial data to assist in decision-making processes.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and controls.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and relevant standards.
Provide ad hoc financial support as needed by the business.Profile
In order to be considered for the Interim Financial Accountant should have:
Professional accounting qualifications or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in financial systems and tools.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Experience in the transport and distribution industry is an advantage.Job Offer
Daily rate of £300-£360, dependent on the level of experience.
