Site Manager

Dover | £55,000–£65,000 + Bonus | Tier 1 Contractor

I’m working with a leading Tier 1 contractor on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a major civils project in Dover.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work for a well-established contractor with a strong project pipeline, excellent standards and genuine opportunities to progress.

You’ll take ownership of a package of works on site, leading teams and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

The role

* Manage site teams and the successful delivery of civil engineering works

* Oversee concrete and demolition packages

* Plan, programme and resource works effectively

* Drive a strong Health & Safety culture across your area of responsibility

* Coordinate subcontractors, direct delivery teams and site activities

* Monitor progress, quality and productivity

* Work closely with the wider project team to ensure successful delivery

* Identify and resolve issues proactively, keeping works on track

What we're looking for

Essential:

* Proven experience managing civil engineering projects

* Strong track record leading and delivering civil engineering site teams

* Relevant CSCS card

* SMSTS

* Strong understanding of Health & Safety compliance

* Temporary Works Supervisor/Coordinator

* Crane Appointed Person

* HSG47 / Underground Services experience

* Strong programming and planning experience

* Experience managing a direct delivery workforce

* First Aid
