Tradewind Recruitment is working with a primary school in Greenwich seeking a confident KS1 Class Teacher to join their team on a long-term, full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys working with younger pupils and wants to make a real difference to their learning and development.
The role
You will take responsibility for teaching a KS1 class, delivering engaging lessons and creating a positive classroom environment where pupils can thrive.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the KS1 curriculum.
* Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
* Managing behaviour effectively and establishing positive classroom routines.
* Assessing and monitoring pupil progress.
* Working closely with Teaching Assistants, colleagues and school leaders.
* Contributing to the wider life of the school.
What we are looking for
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
* Previous experience teaching in a UK primary school.
* KS1 teaching experience and a strong understanding of the curriculum.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* A positive, adaptable and committed approach to teaching.

* Inner London MPS/UPS salary of £41,729 to £64,684 per annum, depending on experience.
