Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum FTE
Contracts: Permanent – both full time and part time available
Pension: Teachers’ Pension Scheme – 28.68% employer contribution
Holiday: 44 days per year, pro rata for part-time positions

Think FE is working with a well-established further education college in Northamptonshire that is expanding its Plumbing provision and is looking ti fill both full time and part time vacancies across ulti campuses. 

What will you be doing?

You’ll use your plumbing knowledge and industry experience to deliver engaging training to learners at different stages of their development.
Your role will include planning and delivering Plumbing lessons up to Level 3, supporting students with their practical skills and underpinning knowledge, monitoring learner progress and helping prepare students for employment or further training.
You’ll also play an important part in maintaining high standards within the department and helping young people understand what is expected of them when they enter the workplace.
Who are we looking for?

A Level 3 Plumbing qualification – essential
Strong practical plumbing knowledge and industry experience
Experience working with young people, trainees or apprentices, or transferable experience such as supervising, mentoring or training others
The ability to explain technical information clearly
A patient and supportive approach to developing learners
An interest in helping the next generation of plumbers build successful careers If you have the industry knowledge but have never taught in a college before, please still get in touch. Your practical experience and ability to communicate your knowledge could transfer well into teaching.
