How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The opportunity to develop your experience across operations, transport and supply chain.
A collaborative team environment where your contribution will have a direct impact on the smooth running of the operation.
    Key Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Operations and Transport teams.
Process and maintain accurate shipment, transport and delivery documentation.
Input and update customer orders, delivery schedules and operational records.
Liaise with customers, drivers, warehouse teams and suppliers regarding deliveries and shipment updates.
Monitor and track deliveries, identifying and escalating delays or issues where required.
Manage and maintain Proof of Deliveries (PODs) and associated transport documentation.
Assist with invoice administration and ensure supporting documentation is accurate and complete.
Prepare spreadsheets, reports and operational documentation for the wider team.
Assist with stock and inventory administration where required.
Handle incoming calls, emails and customer enquiries professionally and efficiently.
Ensure operational records are maintained accurately and in line with company procedures and compliance requirements.
Support the wider team with day-to-day operational queries and problem solving.
Contribute to process improvements and help identify ways to make the operation more efficient.
    Person Specifications:

Previous experience in an administrative or coordination role.
Experience within logistics, freight, transport, warehousing or supply chain is highly desirable.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Confident use of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to build effective working relationships with customers, colleagues, drivers and suppliers.
A positive, flexible and solutions-focused approach.
