Are you confident leading a nursery team while maintaining high standards across safeguarding, the EYFS and day-to-day operations?

TeacherActive is working with a private day nursery in Wakefield that is looking to appoint an experienced Nursery Manager for an immediate start.

The successful Nursery Manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the setting, leading and supporting the nursery team while ensuring children receive a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment in which they can thrive.

The successful Nursery Manager will have:

Previous experience in a Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager or similar senior Early Years role
Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years as a minimum
Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements
Experience leading, motivating and developing a nursery team
Confidence maintaining high standards across the setting
Excellent communication skills when working with staff, children and parents
A genuine passion for Early Years education and child development
The Nursery Manager will be responsible for:

Overseeing the day-to-day running of the nursery
Leading, supporting and developing the Early Years team
Ensuring safeguarding procedures are consistently followed
Maintaining high standards of care, learning and development
Supporting staff with planning and delivery of the EYFS
Building positive relationships with children, parents and carers
Ensuring the nursery provides a welcoming, safe and engaging environment
