Our client, a well-established and thriving organisation within the distribution industry, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Order Management Administration Lead to join their team! This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with previous administrative experience within distribution, logistics or operations and a passion for operational efficiency, team development, and exceptional customer service!
Role Overview:
As the Order Management Administration Lead, you will supervise the administrative function within a bustling operational warehouse facility. You will be responsible for leading a team of administrators, to achieve and fulfil operational efficiency, compliance, inventory accuracy and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and prioritise orders and workflow to ensure operational and customer service requirements are achieved
Oversee the shipment of goods to international customers, guaranteeing adherence to export regulations and company procedures.
Manage the preparation of export documentation and collaborate with freight forwarders and customs authorities.
Achievement of performance objectives related to accuracy, productivity, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Train, coach, and develop team members while ensuring compliance with company policies and Health & Safety standards.
Contribute to the enhancement of administrative processes and procedures throughout the operation.
Maintain accurate records related to attendance, training, and departmental activities.Person Specification:
Administration experience within operations, logistics or distribution
Experience leading or mentoring a team
Strong understanding of administrative processes, inventory controls, and operational compliance.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and business operating systems.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
