How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    KS2 Supply Teacher – Day-to-Day/Long-Term Potential
    Wavertree, Liverpool
    £135–£175 per day

    Vision for Education is seeking a confident and resilient KS2 teacher to provide day-to-day supply cover at a welcoming primary school in Wavertree.

    The role will involve teaching across Key Stage 2 and delivering work prepared by the school. Some classes can present challenging behaviour, so excellent classroom management and the ability to establish clear expectations quickly are essential.

    The school is looking for a teacher who is calm, consistent and confident, while still building positive relationships with pupils. Support will be available from teaching assistants and the wider school team.

    This will initially be offered on a flexible, day-to-day basis, with the potential to develop into regular or long-term work depending on how well the successful candidate fits within the school.

    Responsibilities

    Delivering pre-planned lessons across KS2

    Establishing clear expectations and routines

    Managing challenging behaviour calmly and consistently

    Keeping pupils engaged and focused on their learning

    Following the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies

    Providing feedback to school staff at the end of each day

    Requirements

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

    Recent experience teaching within KS2

    Strong and confident behaviour-management skills

    A flexible, reliable and proactive approach

    An Enhanced DBS, or willingness to obtain one
