How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Associate, Projects, Development and Construction - London

Hunter Savage is hiring on behalf of a leading international law firm to appoint an Associate into its London practice. This is a rare opportunity to join an established Projects, Development and Construction team advising on complex non-contentious construction, development and infrastructure matters.

The firm offers a salary of £70,000 to £90,000 and exceptional work quality, with exposure to major regeneration, accommodation, energy, renewables, healthcare, hotel and infrastructure projects.

    The Opportunity

This Associate position provides a broad practice spanning non-contentious construction, development and infrastructure law. The successful candidate will support public institutions, property owners, investors, developers, funders, contractors and consultants across high-value matters involving complex projects and varied contractual arrangements.

    Practice Focus

The team advises on JCT, NEC, EPC and EPCM contracts, construction appointments, procurement strategies, joint ventures, development arrangements and bespoke project documentation across the UK and international jurisdictions. The role offers scope to undertake due diligence, develop sector knowledge, contribute to business development and build expertise under appropriate supervision.

    Candidate Profile

Applicants should be NQ to 2 PQE solicitors with experience in a construction team or housing practice, particularly in non-contentious construction, standard form contracts and commercial or housing development work. Applicants should be qualified in England and Wales. This opportunity will suit lawyers with sound technical judgement, commercial awareness, an interest in the sector and a collaborative approach.
