How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Business Process Lead – Banking - London

An experienced Business Process Lead is required by UK Challenger Bank that is growing its Transformation & Change function. They are looking for a Business Process Lead to help reshape how the organisation designs, runs and improves its core processes. This is a great opportunity for an experienced process professional to take ownership of high-visibility improvement work, partner directly with senior stakeholders, and help build a process-excellence capability that will shape the bank for years to come.

    About the role

Reporting to the Transformation Director, you'll lead structured process improvement work across the business — from mapping and diagnosing current-state processes through to designing and embedding better ways of working. You'll be a hands-on practitioner and a trusted advisor in equal measure, comfortable running workshops with front-line teams one day and briefing senior leaders the next.

    What you'll be doing

    • Building genuine relationships with business leaders and support functions across the bank, and becoming a go-to advisor on process improvement and best practice
    • Mapping, analysing and documenting how processes currently work to uncover inefficiencies, risks and opportunities
    • Designing future-state processes that support the bank's strategy while meeting regulatory expectations
    • Applying recognised improvement methods (Lean, Six Sigma or similar) to deliver improvements that actually stick
    • Setting up KPIs and other measures so that benefits — cost savings, productivity gains, better customer outcomes — can be tracked and evidenced
    • Making sure risk, control and compliance considerations are designed into every process from the outset
    • Partnering with business and technology colleagues to identify where automation, simplification or digitisation can add value
    • Helping shape the bank's broader process improvement capability, including standards, frameworks and ways of working
    • Coaching and upskilling colleagues in process improvement tools and techniques, and championing a continuous-improvement mindset across the organisation

    Technical background:

    • Solid experience mapping and analysing processes (e.g. Using BPMN or a similar notation)
    • A track record of applying Lean, Six Sigma or comparable structured improvement methodologies
    • Comfortable using data to identify, size and prove out process improvements
    • Good working knowledge of operational risk and control frameworks

    You as a person:

    • A confident stakeholder manager who can influence and build trust at senior levels
    • A strong workshop facilitator who can get the best out of a room
    • Analytical, curious and a natural problem-solver
    • A clear, concise communicator, whatever the audience
    • Pragmatic and outcome-focused — you get things delivered
    • Able to lead cross-functional work and bring people with you without relying on formal authority

You'll be joining a business investing seriously in transformation, with real scope to shape how process improvement is done — not just execute someone else's playbook. It's a highly visible role with direct exposure to senior leadership, and genuine variety across the initiatives you'll touch.

Sound like your kind of gig? If you’re up for the challenge, send your CV and let’s talk.
