ASAP start This primary school in Wandsworth are looking for a part-time Teaching Assistant to start ASAP on an ongoing basis.
The Role
You will be working with a boy in KS2 who is supported on a 2:1 basis. He has an EHCP for Speech and Language difficulties, however as his needs aren't being fully met he can present with SEMH needs, sometimes resulting in aggressive behaviour. He is currently being supported on a full time basis by a permanent member of staff who has established a good relationship with him. However, there are times when the staff member needs time out for breaks/other duties so a second adult is required on a part-time basis. The school can be flexible as to whether this is mornings of afternoons, but will require support from Monday to Friday. They will also consider someone on a full time basis.
