Experienced Teacher of Geography Required for Immediate Start

Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-regarded secondary school in Liverpool to recruit a dedicated Teacher of Geography for a full-time position starting immediately and continuing until Easter 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Teacher of Geography to join a supportive department and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Geography lessons, support student progress and make a positive contribution to the school throughout the academic year.

As a Teacher of Geography, you will:

Deliver engaging, well-planned Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Inspire students to develop their knowledge and understanding of geographical concepts, processes and issues.
Plan and deliver lessons covering a broad range of physical and human Geography topics.
Assess, monitor and support student progress to help maximise achievement.
Create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment where all students can thrive.
Prepare students effectively for GCSE Geography where appropriate.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.The successful Geography Teacher will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4.
Strong classroom management skills and excellent subject knowledge.
A passion for Geography and the ability to inspire and engage young people.
The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
A full 10-year career history.
A minimum of two professional references.
