How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    MIG Welders – Multiple Shifts Available

    Multiple Shift Patterns | All Experience Levels Considered | Immediate Starts

    We are currently recruiting MIG Welders for a long-term manufacturing opportunity.

    Candidates with all levels of MIG welding experience are encouraged to apply. The rate of pay will be determined by the quality and results of a practical weld test.

    Available Shifts & Pay

    * 06:00 – 14:30, Monday to Friday

    * £12.71 – £16.00 per hour

    * 14:30 – 23:00, Monday to Friday

    * £14.00 – £18.00 per hour

    * 06:00 – 18:00, 4 on / 4 off

    * £13.50 – £17.00 per hour

    Overtime is available

    The Role

    As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for producing quality welds in line with required specifications and production standards.

    Duties may include:

    * MIG welding components to the required standard

    * Preparing materials and components for welding

    * Setting and operating welding equipment

    * Working from drawings and specifications where required

    * Checking weld quality and finished components

    * Maintaining consistent production standards

    * Keeping the work area clean and organised

    * Following company health and safety procedures

    About You

    All levels of MIG welding experience will be considered.

    We are looking for candidates who are:

    * Experienced in MIG welding, or have relevant welding experience

    * Able to complete a practical weld test

    * Reliable and hardworking

    * Quality-focused with good attention to detail

    * Able to work to production requirements

    * Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
