How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Head of Store Visual Merchandising | Flagship Fashion Store

    Central London | £45,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Are you an experienced Visual Merchandising Manager, Senior Visual Merchandiser or Head of Store VM looking for your next challenge within a leading fashion retailer?

We're recruiting for a Head of Store Visual Merchandising to be based within a high-profile flagship store in Central London.

This is a hands-on, store-based leadership role, responsible for the visual presentation, customer experience and commercial performance of the flagship. You'll lead and develop a talented in-store VM team, bringing the brand to life across the shop floor, windows and key customer touchpoints.

This is not a Head Office-based visual merchandising role. We're looking for someone who enjoys being on the shop floor, working closely with the wider store leadership team and using commercial insight to continually improve the customer experience.

    The Role

As Head of Store Visual Merchandising, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day visual direction of the flagship store, ensuring it consistently reflects the brand while delivering strong commercial results.

You'll lead, coach and inspire the in-store Visual Merchandising team, working closely with the Store Manager and wider retail leadership to deliver seasonal campaigns, launches and key commercial initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

Lead and inspire the in-store Visual Merchandising team, setting high standards and developing the team.

Own the visual presentation and execution of the flagship store, ensuring the brand comes to life across every area.

Deliver windows, displays, product presentations and seasonal campaigns to an exceptional standard.

Work closely with the Store Manager and wider retail team to ensure VM activity supports commercial priorities.

Use sales performance, customer behaviour and KPIs to inform product placement, layouts and visual decisions.

Lead seasonal launches, promotional activity and new product drops within the store.

Conduct regular floor walks and continually identify opportunities to improve the customer journey and commercial performance.

Keep the store visually fresh, relevant and aligned to current fashion and retail trends.

Coach the wider store team on visual standards and ensure consistency across the customer journey.

Support wider projects including new store openings, refits, relocations and concept launches where required.

Work collaboratively with Head Office teams including Buying, Merchandising, Marketing and Retail Operations.

    About You

You'll be an experienced store-based Visual Merchandising leader with a genuine passion for fashion retail and a strong understanding of how great VM can influence customer experience and sales.

    You'll ideally have:

Experience as a Head of Store VM, Visual Merchandising Manager, Senior Visual Merchandiser or similar.

Strong experience leading and developing an in-store VM team.

A proven track record of working within a large-format, flagship or high-profile retail environment.

A strong commercial mindset, with the ability to use sales data and KPIs to influence visual decisions.

Excellent organisation and planning skills within a fast-paced retail environment.

A passion for fashion, trends, customer experience and outstanding store standards.

The confidence to work collaboratively with Store Managers, Retail Directors and Head Office teams.

Experience within fashion, premium, lifestyle or trend-led retail.

    What's on Offer

    Salary up to £45,000

    Performance bonus

    Excellent benefits package

Career progression with a growing fashion retailer

The opportunity to lead VM within a high-profile Central London flagship store

A hands-on role with real ownership of the store's visual identity and customer experience

    Collaborative and creative retail environment

If you're an ambitious Visual Merchandising leader who loves being on the shop floor and wants to take ownership of a flagship store, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today with your most up-to-date CV.
