Overtime Rates
Monday to Friday after 5pm: Standard hourly rate
Saturday until 12pm: 1.5x rate
Saturday after 12pm & Sunday: 2x rate
The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will install, service, maintain, and repair a range of packaging and automation equipment at customer sites across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
Mechanical and electrical fault-finding
Planned preventative maintenance
Breakdown diagnosis and repair
Installation and commissioning of new machinery
Machine optimisation and performance improvements
Providing technical support to customers
Completing service reports and documentation
Machinery Includes
Pallet wrapping machines
Robotic wrapping systems
Turntable and rotary arm wrappers
Conveyor systems
Strapping and banding equipment
Other end-of-line packaging machinery
Requirements
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
Experience working with industrial, automated, manufacturing, packaging, or processing machinery
Previous field service experience advantageous
Engineering qualification (Level 3 minimum)
Full UK Driving Licence
Willingness to travel throughout the UK, with occasional overnight stays
