Accounts Senior

A well-established accountancy firm based in Otley is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Senior to join its team. This is a varied role working with a portfolio of small and medium-sized businesses, with strong support from senior management and the directors.

The role offers hybrid working, flexible start and finish times with 26.5 days holiday + stats.

The role will include:

Preparation of limited company year-end accounts and corporation tax computations for partner review.
Preparation of sole trader and partnership accounts and tax returns.
Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts, both in the office and at client premises.
Bookkeeping and VAT, including reviewing work prepared by others and identifying errors and improvements.
Working closely with clients and managing deadlines across a varied SME portfolio.
Full support available from the firm's Personal Tax Manager and senior management team.
The ideal candidate will have good practice experience and a strong understanding of working with small and medium-sized businesses.
