Water Jet Cutter
Location: Chesterfield
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Day shifts – no weekends

H&H Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for a Water Jet Cutter to join a growing manufacturing company based in Chesterfield.

The Role
As a Water Jet Cutter, your duties will include:
* Setting up and operating water jet cutting machinery
* Cutting materials accurately to specifications and drawings
* Loading and unloading materials
* Measuring and checking finished components
* Carrying out quality checks to ensure a high standard of work
* Monitoring machinery during production
* Using an FLT to move materials safely around the site
* General machine maintenance and housekeeping
* Following all health & safety procedures
* Working closely with the wider production team
Essential Requirements
* Must hold a valid FLT licence
* Previous experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or machining environment
* Good attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work from measurements and specifications
* Reliable, hardworking and keen to develop
* Comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment
Desirable Experience
* Previous water jet cutting experience
* CNC or other machine operating experience
* Experience working with different materials and cutting processes
Candidates with relevant machining experience and a genuine willingness to learn water jet cutting may also be considered.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
07:00 – 17:00
No weekend working.
