How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Our customers are premium brands, many in the beauty, fashion and wellbeing sectors. Our mission is to help them succeed. We are a people business, investing in training and development, recognising and rewarding our people’s achievements and creating opportunities for them to progress within our business. If you want to develop an exciting career, learn from a friendly team and realise your full potential in a fast-growing company, this is the role for you.

Be the trusted partner behind some of the UK's most exciting beauty, fashion and wellbeing brands

At ILG, we help premium brands deliver exceptional experiences to their customers. We're looking for a Logistics Coordinator to become the trusted day-to-day contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring they receive outstanding support, proactive communication and a seamless service experience. This is not a traditional logistics role. It's a customer-focused position where you'll build strong client relationships, solve problems, coordinate with internal teams and play a key role in delivering exceptional service.

    What you'll be doing

    - Acting as the main point of contact for client enquiries and day-to-day support
    - Building strong, trusted relationships with clients and becoming their go-to contact
    - Resolving operational issues and ensuring clients are kept informed throughout
    - Working closely with warehouse teams, carriers and internal departments to deliver excellent service
    - Supporting customer calls, meetings and service reviews
    - Monitoring service performance and identifying opportunities for improvement

    What we're looking for

    - A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and building strong client relationships
    - Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with customers and colleagues at all levels
    - A proactive, solution-focused approach with the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively
    - Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    - Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a high-quality service
    - Experience in customer service, client services, account coordination, logistics or another customer-facing role would be advantageous
    - A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport, as occasional travel to customer sites and other company locations will be required

    Why join ILG?

    - Discretionary company bonus scheme
    - Hybrid working following successful probation
    - 22 days' holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with service
    - Option to buy and sell holiday
    - Birthday leave
    - Healthshield Cash Plan, Life Assurance and pension
    - Employee recognition awards and regular social events
    - Employee Assistance Programme
    - Enhanced maternity and paternity benefits
    - Genuine opportunities for training, development and career progression

If you enjoy building relationships, solving problems and making a real difference to customers every day, we'd love to hear from you.

Job Application Requirements - We welcome your application and look forward to considering you for this role. Please note the following important requirements for all applicants:

    - Right to Work in the UK & Basic DBS Check – You must have the legal right to work in the UK (we are not able to sponsor you). If successful, you will also need to pass a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before starting employment. We use a
third-party checking service for each of these, so you will need to provide them with relevant information if offered a role with us.
    - References - We reserve the right to request two or more references to cover the past five years of your employment history. Please ensure you can provide accurate contact details for each of your referees.
    - English Language – You must be able to work in English, enough to fully understand spoken and written work instructions, follow health and safety guidance and participate in discussions with your manager or colleagues.

If you meet the role requirements, as well as the above, and are ready to take the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply.

Please be aware, we will be considering applications as we receive them and arranging interviews accordingly. Depending on the volume of applications we receive, we may close this advert ahead of the advertised closing date.
