This is a hands-on temporary role supporting the relocation of the business from an eight-storey mill building to a nearby site. Working as part of a small team, you will help safely move furniture, photography props, studio equipment and warehouse stock before assisting with setting everything up at the new premises.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work and wants to be part of a unique relocation project.
Duties include:
Assisting with the relocation of furniture, photography equipment and studio props
Emptying and clearing an eight-storey mill building
Loading, unloading and moving stock between sites
Safely lifting and carrying furniture, shelving and equipment
Assembling furniture, shelving and storage units at the new site
Organising warehouse stock, photography props and studio equipment
General manual handling and labouring duties
Keeping both sites clean, organised and safe throughout the relocation
Candidate requirements:
Previous warehouse, labouring, removals or production experience is desirable
Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling throughout the day
Physically fit with a proactive attitude
Experience using basic hand tools is advantageous
Hours & Pay:
£12.75 per hour
8.30am-5.00pm Monday - Friday
