We're looking for an experienced HGV Operative who enjoys working as part of a supportive team, takes pride in delivering high-quality work, and is committed to making a positive impact on every project.
Travel, working away, and occasional night and weekend working form part of this varied, hands-on role.
What You'll Be Doing
* Supporting the delivery of highways and infrastructure projects across the UK
* Transporting plant, materials and equipment safely and efficiently
* Working closely with colleagues on site to support project delivery
* Carrying out vehicle checks and maintaining accurate records
* Following health, safety and environmental procedures
* Helping maintain high standards of safety and quality on site
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, supports their team and takes pride in a job well done, alongside:
* HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
* Driver CPC qualification
* CSCS Labourer Card
* Experience operating HGV vehicles within construction, highways or civil engineering
* A good understanding of vehicle safety and compliance requirements
* Highways or National Highways experience
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Flexibility to travel and work away from home when required
