Electrical Estimator - Temporary Site Services
MMp is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our growing team. We are looking for a commercially minded professional with a strong background in Temporary Site Services, capable of producing accurate and competitive estimates for projects across the construction sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently working within temporary site electrics who is looking to progress their career with a respected and expanding business.
The Role
As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for temporary electrical installations and site service projects. You will work closely with clients, project teams, and suppliers to ensure proposals are commercially viable and technically accurate.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions
* Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documentation
* Obtaining and evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations
* Conducting site visits where required
* Identifying project risks and opportunities
* Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders throughout the tender process
* Supporting the successful handover of projects to operational teams
* Ensuring estimates are completed within required timescales
About You
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience within the Temporary Site Services sector.
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator
* Strong knowledge of Temporary Site Services and construction site electrical installations
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Full UK driving licence
