How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Join a growing quality team where you'll support supplier approval, raw material compliance, and quality assurance activities. Working closely with Quality, Procurement, Production, and NPD teams, you'll conduct supplier assessments, manage specifications, and ensure food safety and regulatory standards are met.     Description

    Manage and coordinate the raw material supplier approval and monitoring process.
    Review, assess, and approve raw material specifications to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
    Conduct supplier risk assessments, audits, and performance reviews, maintaining Approved Supplier records.
    Investigate supplier non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
    Support raw material and finished product testing programmes, ensuring accurate documentation and traceability.
    Maintain supplier and quality documentation while supporting food safety, certification, and quality management systems.

    Profile

    A successful Quality Technologist should have:

    1-2years' experience in a Quality, Supplier Quality, Quality Assurance, or Quality technologist role within the food, nutrition, pharmaceutical, or related manufacturing sectors.
    Strong understanding of food safety and quality management systems, including HACCP, ISO, FSSC 22000, and GFSI-recognised standards.
    Knowledge of UK and EU food legislation, supplier approval processes, and quality compliance requirements.
    Analytical, detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills and experience in data analysis, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

    Job Offer

    Hourly rate dependent on the level of experience.
