How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Are you an experienced Bus & Coach, PSV, or Heavy Vehicle professional looking to move into training?

Do you want to step away from the tools and into a rewarding role where you can support apprentices, work closely with a major employer partner, and help develop the next generation of Bus & Coach technicians?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's most recognised Automotive apprenticeship providers in a permanent role focused on Bus & Coach Mech/Elec delivery. This role is ideal for someone with strong industry knowledge who wants to move into education, pass on their skills, and build a long-term career in training.

You'll support learners with modern vehicle systems, diagnostics, safety standards, SRS, electrical integration, and the technical knowledge required to succeed within the Bus & Coach industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong Bus & Coach or PSV background with recent industry experience. Candidates from a Heavy Vehicle background may also be considered if they have strong electrical knowledge and the ability to adapt to Bus & Coach delivery. Teaching experience is desirable but not essential, as full support towards a Level 3 AET qualification can be provided.

*Manage learner engagement, homework, coursework expectations, and progress.
*Full-time permanent position, 37.5 hours per week.

*Full training provided, including support towards Level 3 AET.
*Excellent package including private pension, bank holidays, Christmas shutdown, and long-term progression opportunities.

*Able to hit the ground running and work closely with a major employer partner.
    *Adaptable, resilient, confident, and learner-focused.
