How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

You’ll play a key role in leading the development function across multiple European markets, working at a Scrum of Scrums level across three experienced Scrum teams, acting as the senior development liaison.

This is a 12-month contract role, with yearly extensions, inside IR35 via an umbrella company.

    • Own and shape the development strategy and technology roadmap across multiple European markets.
    • Act as a senior liaison between development teams, architecture teams, hub contacts and wider technology stakeholders.
    • Work closely with architecture and engineering teams to shape technical approaches and ensure solutions are scalable and fit for purpose.
    • Provide technical leadership and challenge across development decisions.
    • Manage escalations and dependencies across teams, ensuring blockers are resolved effectively.
    • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across European markets, technology hubs and architecture functions.
    • Provide clear updates on development strategy, roadmap progress, risks and technical priorities to senior leadership.

    Your background:

    • Solid experience within software development, engineering, eCommerce technology or digital platforms
    • Strong experience progressing from a technical/development background into a senior technology leadership position
    • Proven experience leading development teams or multiple Scrum teams within a complex technology environment
    • SAP Commerce Cloud / Hybris experience beneficial, ideally within a large-scale, multi-market eCommerce environment
    • Strong experience operating at Scrum of Scrums level, coordinating multiple Agile teams and managing cross-team dependencies
    • Strong understanding of modern software development, architecture, APIs, integrations and digital platforms
    • Experience working closely with Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects and senior engineering stakeholders
    • Proven ability to shape technology strategy, development roadmaps and technical priorities
    • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working with experienced Scrum Masters and Development Leads
    • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate confidently between technical teams and senior business leadership
