We are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with ASD, PMLD, and additional learning needs. You'll use creative and sensory-based activities such as art, music, play, and hands-on learning to engage children, develop communication skills, promote independence, and support their overall development.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with Autism and complex needs
Deliver engaging sensory, creative, and therapeutic activities
Support communication, social development, and emotional wellbeing
Assist with personal care and mobility where required
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists
Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
Experience working with children or young people with SEND, Autism, or complex needs
Knowledge of PECS, Makaton, sensory learning, or similar approaches is desirable
Patient, resilient, and enthusiastic attitude
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
