How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Project Manager wanted for this thriving construction company located in the heart of London who focus on large home extension projects wihtin the Capital. This growing and ambitious company are committed to excellent customer service, innovative marketing and flawless project management and offer a fresh and straightforward approach to the design and build process - with transparent pricing, a focus on quality outcomes and ensuring projects are executed in a cost-efficient, client-focused manner.

    Now due to their continued success they are now seeking a Project Manager to oversee projects in the London area where you will interface between clients, their in-house Design Team, contractors, engineers, Building Control and other industry professionals to deliver each project. Strong communication skills, knowledge of residential building and a diligent attention to detail are vital prerequisites for this role.

    Other key responsibilities of the role include:

    * Preparing and updating project plans

    * Site monitoring to ensure the works are undertaken in accordance with the architectural plans and specification

    * Dealing with the resolution of issues arising on site through the co-ordination of contractors, engineers, Building Control and our in-house Design Team

    * Ensuring compliance with Party Wall obligations

    * Inspecting the quality of the works and preparing certification reports ahead of payment milestones

    * Collating the Completion Pack at the end of the project lifecycle

    * Training and working along with Senior Project Managers

    * Preparing internal reports and reporting to the Build Director

    The ideal candidate will be a graduate with an architecture, surveying or engineering degree, and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in construction project management.
