About the role:
* Preparing and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning etc.
* Preparing and loading raw materials and parts into the machines
* Inspecting and measuring finished products and comparing them with technical and quality requirements
* De-burring and cleaning of finished parts as necessary
* Emptying swarf trays as appropriate
* Ensuring that every machine procedure is undertaken in accordance with the company guidelines
* Ensuring all machines operated throughout the day together with surrounding work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times
* Strictly adhering to all health and safety procedures
* Demonstrating a strong team approach ensuring clear communication with colleagues at all levels
* Adhering to SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures)
About you:
* Must be a team player and have the ability to work well with others
* Must have a safety conscious mindset
* Previous experience in CNC Machining is desired by not necessary
* Passion for manufacturing
* Willingness to take on additional training as required by the business
