Key Duties:
· Develop and implement sourcing plans that align with business needs and operational priorities.
· Source products from approved suppliers, ensuring commercial competitiveness and continuity of supply.
· Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely supplier acknowledgements and delivery commitments.
· Negotiate pricing, trading terms, rebates, promotional support, and supply agreements within agreed authority levels.
· Support supplier tenders, contract renewals, and procurement projects.
· Monitor supplier performance against agreed KPIs, including service, quality, delivery, and commercial compliance.
· Monitor market conditions, pricing trends, and commodity movements to inform purchasing decisions.
· Identify and deliver cost reduction and value improvement opportunities.
· Support budgeting, forecasting, and procurement planning activities.
· Contribute to the achievement of procurement savings and commercial performance targets.
· Maintain accurate procurement data and supplier information.
· Ensure supplier pricing and purchasing records are kept up to date.
Previous Skills & Experience:
· A minimum of three years' experience in a procurement or purchasing role.
· CIPS Level 4 qualification (or equivalent practical procurement experience).
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify commercial opportunities.
· Proven ability to negotiate effectively and build strong supplier relationships.
· Sound commercial awareness with a focus on delivering value and cost efficiencies.
· Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
