How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    School Kitchen Assistant Required – Park Academy

    School: Park Academy
    Location: SW19 3EF
    Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
    Hours: 10 hours per week – 2 hours per day, Monday to Friday

    The Supply Register are proud to be working in partnership with STEP Academy Trust and are recruiting for a School Kitchen Assistant to join the team at Park Academy in London.

    Are you friendly, reliable and enthusiastic with experience in catering or a busy kitchen environment? We are looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude who takes pride in providing nutritious, high-quality meals and creating a welcoming experience for pupils.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Support with food preparation, meal service, washing up and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen.
    Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures, including taking care of allergies and special dietary requirements.
    Work closely with the kitchen and school team, supporting the Cook/Catering Manager with stock control, records and other reasonable duties.
    What We're Looking For:

    Previous experience in catering, hospitality or a busy kitchen environment, with a good understanding of food hygiene and safety. Level 2 food allergen or food safety desired.
    A reliable team player who can also use their own initiative and maintain consistently high standards.
    Friendly and professional communication skills, with a positive attitude and willingness to undertake training.
    What We Offer:

    10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only, with weekly pay every Friday.

    Requirements:

    Valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
