Suitable for a recent Graduate or experienced Cover Supervisor
A Cover Supervisor is needed in an All-Boys Secondary School & Sixth Form in South London.
This Cover Supervisor position can be part or full time and will be temporary in the first instance.
If appointed as a Cover Supervisor your duties will include but not be limited to:
Supervising classes in the absence of the class teacher
Managing pupil behaviour in line with the school's policies
Ensuring students complete their work based on the lesson objective
Providing feedback to the team in relation to pupil's behaviour and standard of work
The rates of pay for this Cover Supervisor post will be between £85.50 to £120 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.
The School
An Academy for boys aged 11 to 18 years old, located in the London Borough of Southwark.
Established in 2009, there are now just over 800 pupils on enrolment.
There are over 40 different extracurricular clubs at the school, the vast majority of which are free for all pupils to access.
Requirements
You're welcome to apply if you're a recent Graduate or experienced Cover Supervisor.
Applications are also welcome if you're a British trained Cover Supervisor or overseas trained Cover Supervisor.
All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this role as a Cover Supervisor:
Right to work in the UK
Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
UK Bachelor's Degree or an overseas equivalent
Experience of working with children/teenagers/young people or as a Cover Supervisor in UK Secondary schools
