Production MIG Welder/ Fabricator
£14.50 per hour

Taylor Blackwood Associates are currently recruiting a skilled MIG Welder on behalf of a leading manufacturing organisation based near Wolverhampton.
This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent opportunity, offering long-term stability and the chance to work as part of a supportive fabrication team.

The Role
As a MIG Welder, your responsibilities will include:
* Performing MIG welding to assemble or fabricate metal structures
* Conducting stick welding on various materials as required
* Working with sheet metal to create components
* Operating hand and power tools to prepare materials for welding
* Using basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
* Fabricating metal components to required specifications
* Reading and interpreting blueprints accurately
* Following all health & safety procedures at all times
The Candidate
We are keen to speak with candidates who:
* Have at least 1 year of experience in MIG welding, stick welding, and using hand and power tools
* Are competent in sheet metal work and metal fabrication
* Can read and interpret blueprints
* Have strong mechanical knowledge and attention to detail
* Are reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
* Are motivated to develop their skills and take ownership of tasks
