Hours: Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week
Rate: £21.40 per hour (CIS)

About the RoleBuild Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced Carpenter to join a busy voids and planned maintenance team.
You will be working on vacant social housing properties, carrying out a range of carpentry repairs and refurbishment works to ensure properties are brought back up to a high standard and ready for new tenants.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Carpenter who is confident working independently and completing a variety of repairs within void properties.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out a range of carpentry repairs and maintenance works within void properties
Complete repairs to doors, frames, locks, kitchens, skirting boards and other internal carpentry
Carry out first and second fix carpentry where required
Complete associated minor multi-trade works where required
Ensure all properties are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
Work independently and manage workloads effectively
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 in Carpentry, or equivalent qualification
Proven experience working as a Carpenter, ideally within social housing or void properties
Experience carrying out a range of domestic carpentry repairs
Ability to complete basic secondary trade works
Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points)
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
