About the Role
I am currently looking for an experienced Health & Beauty Tutor/Mentor to support a learner based in Greenwich.
This is a sensitive SEN placement, and I am specifically looking for someone with a strong background in supporting learners with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and additional Special Educational Needs (SEN).
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and personalised Health & Beauty Level 1 and Level 2 learning programmes while providing tailored mentoring support to help the learner achieve their educational and personal development goals.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Health & Beauty Level 1 and Level 2 curriculum content.
Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs.
Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
Support the learner's academic, social, and emotional development.
Employ teaching strategies that are suitable for learners with Autism and SEN.
Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records.
Assess work and provide constructive feedback.
Build positive relationships with the learner, family, and wider support network where required.
Promote learner confidence, independence, and engagement.
Ensure safeguarding and wellbeing remain at the forefront of all interactions.Candidate Requirements
Experience teaching Health & Beauty Level 1 and/or Level 2.
Previous experience supporting learners with Autism and additional SEN needs.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
Relevant teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or vocational qualifications are desirable.
