Starting salary from £29,741 per annum, dependent on experience

Welcome customers and book vehicles into the service department for repairs and routine servicing
Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle progress and required work
Liaise with the workshop team to chase work in progress and ensure timely completion
Upsell additional products and services where appropriate as the Service Advisor
Take payments for completed work
Build strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Advise customers on minor technical issues and explain repair processes clearly
Possible involvement with warranty authorisation and liaising with vehicle manufacturers (advantageous but not essential)Requirements:
Recent or current experience as a service advisor or similar role within the automotive retail industry is highly advantageous
Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
Good organisational skills and IT literacy (experience with Pinewood Pinnacle is desirable)
Basic mechanical understanding of vehicles
Ability to influence and up-sell to customers
