How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Contract Administration Coordinator – Infrastructure

Location: South West London / Berkshire
    Salary: £35,000–£40,000 + Car + Benefits
    Working Pattern: Full-time, site based

    The Opportunity

An established Tier 1 infrastructure contractor is looking to appoint a Contract Administrator to support the commercial and contractual management of a portfolio of live infrastructure projects.

This is not a general project administration role. The position will focus specifically on contract administration, contractual change, notices and communications, working closely with Project Managers and commercial teams to ensure changes are properly recorded, communicated and managed within contractual timescales.

The role would suit someone currently working as a Contract Administrator, Commercial Administrator, Commercial Assistant, Change Coordinator or similar, particularly if you have gained exposure to NEC contracts, CEMAR, compensation events, early warnings or contractual change processes.

For someone currently working within commercial or project support, this is an excellent opportunity to develop deeper experience of contract management within a major infrastructure environment.

    The Role

You will support multiple live contracts, taking responsibility for maintaining accurate contractual records and helping the project teams manage change effectively.

Working alongside Project Managers and key stakeholders, responsibilities will include:

Administering contractual change and change management processes across live projects.
Preparing, issuing, recording and tracking contractual notices and communications.
Maintaining accurate change, notification and contract registers.
Monitoring contractual actions and deadlines to ensure responses are completed within required timescales.
Supporting the administration of Early Warnings, Compensation Events and other contractual communications where applicable.
Using electronic contract management systems such as CEMAR to maintain an accurate contractual record.
Working closely with Project Managers and commercial teams to ensure changes are properly captured and communicated.
Liaising with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project stakeholders.
Supporting the identification and recording of contractual risks and opportunities.
Maintaining clear and auditable contract documentation across multiple projects.
Supporting best-practice contract management and governance across the project portfolio.
    About You

We're particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have experience within a contractual, commercial or project environment, rather than general office administration.

You may currently be working as a:

Contract Administrator | Commercial Administrator | Commercial Assistant | Change Coordinator | Contract Coordinator | NEC Administrator | Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Ideally, you will have some experience of:

Contract administration or commercial support within a project environment.
Managing or supporting contractual change, variations, notices or communications.
Working with NEC3 or NEC4 contracts, or another structured form of contract.
Using CEMAR or similar contract management software.
Supporting Compensation Events, Early Warnings or similar change processes.
Construction, infrastructure, utilities, engineering or another major-project environment.
Working with Project Managers, commercial teams, clients and supply-chain partners.
You don't need to be a Quantity Surveyor or NEC expert. However, you should have an understanding of contractual processes and change management and be comfortable taking responsibility for maintaining accurate records and ensuring contractual actions aren't missed.

    What's on Offer

    £35,000–£40,000 salary
    Company car
    Additional company benefits
Long-term opportunity with an established Tier 1 infrastructure contractor.
Exposure to major UK infrastructure projects and NEC contracts.
Opportunity to develop your experience across contract management, CEMAR and commercial change management.
Clear opportunities for continued professional development and progression.
If you're currently working within contract or commercial administration and want to develop your career further within contract management and major infrastructure, we'd be keen to hear from you.

Ganymede is committed to creating a diverse workforce and is an equal opportunities employer. We welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of age, disability, gender, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation
