How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Maintain accurate records using contract management systems and company processes.
Ensure contractual obligations, deadlines and governance requirements are met.
Assist with the identification and management of contractual risks and opportunities.
Maintain clear documentation and auditable contract records.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across contract administration and project controls functions.
    Requirements

Experience in contract administration, commercial support, change management, cost management or a similar project-based role.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
    Desirable Experience

Understanding of NEC and/or IChemE contracts.
Experience using CEMAR or similar contract management software.
Background within construction, infrastructure, utilities, engineering or major project environments.
Commercial awareness and an understanding of project risk and opportunity management.
    What's on Offer

Opportunity to join a leading Tier 1 infrastructure contractor with a strong order book and long-term frameworks.
Exposure to major infrastructure and utility projects across the UK.
Excellent career development and progression opportunities.
    Collaborative and supportive project environment.
    Competitive salary and benefits package.
If you're looking to build your career in contract administration and gain exposure to complex infrastructure projects, we'd be keen to hear from you.
