Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable prestige franchise-approved car dealership located in Kidlington. Our client is seeking a fully qualified Vehicle Technician to join their Service Department. This is an excellent Vehicle Technician opportunity for a motivated professional looking to develop their career within a successful multi-dealer group with over 100 locations nationwide.

40-hour week, Monday to FridayDuties of a Vehicle Technician:

Carry out fault diagnosis, servicing, and vehicle repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards
Ensure all work is completed to a high quality, maintaining safety, reliability, and performance standards
Accurately diagnose vehicle faults, report findings to the Service Manager
Adhere to all quality procedures laid out by the dealership and manufacturer
Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Work effectively within a team environment to meet operational targetsRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Fully qualified Vehicle Technician to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (minimum)
One to two years’ post-qualification experience preferred, ideally within a franchise-approved dealership; however, experienced Level 2 qualified Vehicle Technicians are encouraged to apply
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Good team player with a positive attitude and motivation to meet targets
