€33,000 to €39,000 + van home + paid overtime
Permanent opportunity for a Field Service Engineer based in Kilkenny, working for a leading Irish retail IT and infrastructure specialist. Commutable from Kilkenny city, Callan, Thomastown, Castlecomer, Carlow and Waterford.
Kilkenny and the immediate south east will be your main area, though the role covers a broad region. You will travel into neighbouring counties and across Munster as customer workload dictates, so a high degree of flexibility on travel and hours is needed.
The role is entirely on the road. You will deliver break fix, installations, IMAC, upgrades, decommissioning and remedial shop fitting work across a national retail customer base, typically covering several sites a day.
Package:
€39,000 achievable for the right experience
Van taken home, tools and equipment provided
37.5 hour week
On-call 1 in 3 weeks with a €250 allowance
Out of hours paid at time and a half, Sundays and bank holidays at double time
Permanent role with a business investing in its engineering teamRequirements:
Proven experience as a field or mobile engineer
Comfortable covering a wide area with plenty of time on the road
EPOS ideally, though a high level IT and hardware background with field experience will be looked at
Clean Irish or EU driving licence
